The City of Dearborn posted on their Instagram page sending their condolences to all who knew the Abbas. The vehicles caught fire and all six people involved were killed. The Fayette County Coroner’s Office confirms that Bailey was driving a pickup truck the wrong way on northbound I-75 when he hit the family’s SUV head-on. The driver of the pickup was identified by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office as Joey Lee Bailey, 41, of Georgetown, Kentucky.Īccording to a release from the coroner, the Abbas family was driving back to Michigan from vacation in Florida when the wreck happened.
